Building Saudi Arabia's future workforce through technical training

Instructors and trainees on the workshop floor of the Saudi Arabia training centre

Overview

Site Skills has established strategic training centres and alliances in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delivering large-scale apprentice, safety and competency programs aligned with the nation's Vision 2030 workforce development agenda.

The Challenge

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 targets rapid economic diversification, infrastructure expansion and localisation of the workforce across construction, mining, oil & gas and broader industry. The country requires high-capacity, industry-aligned training infrastructure capable of developing technical, safety and supervisory capability in line with global standards and local workforce ambitions.

5,000+ Saudis trained by Site Skills in KSA across oil & gas, construction and safety.

Our Solution

  • International standards, local delivery – Training programmes customised and delivered in KSA and designed to meet global industrial competency benchmarks.
  • Large-Cohort Apprenticeship Programs – Delivery of high-volume technical and safety training across electrical, instrumentation, welding, pipe-fitting, scaffolding, and construction supervision, supporting workforce pipelines for major contractors and industrial partners.

Training Programs

  • Technical Trades & Apprenticeship Streams
  • Construction Safety & Supervision
  • Oil & Gas / Mining Competencies
  • Workforce Readiness & Soft Skills

Two further “Our Solution” points from the source page are held back here rather than published, because they state a corporate fact that appears nowhere else in this workbench:

“Strategic Training Centre Establishment – Site Skills operations in the Kingdom through Site Group LLC, a locally incorporated entity with a 100%-owned subsidiary, Masar, which holds a Higher Training Institute license from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). This structure ensures compliance with Saudi regulations and enables the delivery of accredited training within the Kingdom.”

“Aligned with Vision 2030 & Localisation Goals – Site's programs, delivered through TVTC-licensed Masar, directly support Saudi Arabia's national objectives for skills development, economic diversification, and the creation of sustainable employment pathways for Saudi nationals.”

Confirm that the Masar subsidiary and its TVTC licence are accurate and current, and these two points can be published as ordinary copy alongside the two above.

“The rapid growth in trainee numbers at our Saudi training centre confirms the depth of demand for high-quality, industry-aligned training—and underscores our confidence in scaling apprenticeships in the Kingdom.”

Building national capability for oil & gas workforce

Live-process training for PNG's oil & gas future.

The Safe Live Processing Plant built for the Kumul Petroleum Academy

Overview

Site Skills partnered with KPA & Kumul Petroleum to engineer, build and operate the Safe Live Processing Plant (SLPP) – a full-size process facility enabling PNG nationals to train on site-realistic systems.

The Challenge

PNG's oil & gas and resources sector required a localised technical workforce trained to international standards. Without high-fidelity training infrastructure, the country faced high reliance on imported skills and elevated costs. KPA needed to deliver ‘live-work environment’ training in process operations, control systems and trades for PNG nationals to participate meaningfully.

Trainees working in the simulated underground mine environment

Overview

Site Skills partnered with OceanaGold to design, construct, and operate a fully immersive underground metalliferous mine training environment at our Clark Freeport campus.

The Challenge

When Didipio transitioned to underground mining and later recommenced operations, OceanaGold needed a safe, scalable pipeline to build underground capability locally — shortening time-to-competence and reducing in-mine training exposure while developing talent from host communities.
