Site Skills has established strategic training centres and alliances in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delivering large-scale apprentice, safety and competency programs aligned with the nation's Vision 2030 workforce development agenda.

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 targets rapid economic diversification, infrastructure expansion and localisation of the workforce across construction, mining, oil & gas and broader industry. Overview

Site Skills partnered with KPA & Kumul Petroleum to engineer, build and operate the Safe Live Processing Plant (SLPP) – a full-size process facility enabling PNG nationals to train on site-realistic systems.

The Challenge

PNG's oil & gas and resources sector required a localised technical workforce trained to international standards. Without high-fidelity training infrastructure, the country faced high reliance on imported skills and elevated costs. KPA needed to deliver ‘live-work environment’ training in process operations, control systems and trades for PNG nationals to participate meaningfully.

Site Skills partnered with OceanaGold to design, construct, and operate a fully immersive underground metalliferous mine training environment at our Clark Freeport campus.

The Challenge

When Didipio transitioned to underground mining and later recommenced operations, OceanaGold needed a safe, scalable pipeline to build underground capability locally — shortening time-to-competence and reducing in-mine training exposure while developing talent from host communities.
